Felix Caliguiran showed unstoppable power as he led USL-BES Wolfox to victory against Cagayan National High School Junior High (CNHS JH) in the Basketball Exhibition Game, 63-55, during the Basic Education School Intramurals, at the Basketball Court 1, on Thursday, December 7.

Aixey Louinel Javier blasted with a 3-point starter in the opening quarter.

Wolfox maintained a steady lead until the last quarter.

CNHS’ John Aldrid Millamina reeled in a 3-pointer before falling short with an 11-point deficit.

The Captain Ball was supported by Daryl Saquing’s rebounding skills – contributing 4 points in the second half.

Displaying will to win, Mark Joshua Narag kickstarted the CNHSians’ run in the 1st and 2nd quarters, ending the first half, 32-24.

Cristo Rey “Asyer” Bareno, stacked three 2-pointers. Meanwhile, Caliguiran successfully hooped four free throws from a technical foul.

“Teamwork, nagtulungan kami. [May] chemistry kami,” Javier answered in a post-game interview with The GEM Herald.

“Maraming salamat sa suporta. Good team!” Bareno said.

“Ang strategy namin is a good defense…kasi ‘pag merong good defense, may strong offense,” CNHS JH Coach Mark Lee Lumaban stated.
