The class of Grade 11-St. Cyril of Jerusalem from the Humanities and Social Sciences strand conducted a Service-Learning Program entitled “Louisian Opportunities through Values Education” (Project L.O.V.E.), held at Mamba Gymnasium, Barangay Cataggaman Pardo, Tuguegarao City, on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

The said program under the subject ‘Introduction to World Religions and Belief Systems,’ revolved around the topic of Abrahamic Religions and was hosted by Ms. Raiza Louise Natividad and Mr. Karol Jozef Mabazza.

Mr. James Benedict Tan delivered his opening remarks along with a brief talk about respect among religions.

Mr. Daryl Lagundi, Introduction to World Religions and Belief Systems teacher, SLP instructor, and speaker, presented a lecture to the attendees via a game called, “One Body, Many Parts.” Other games like Trip to Jerusalem and Stop Dance were played. The winners and participants received school materials and snacks as prizes.

The program culminated with a song performance from the students of Batch 1.

A service-learning program is conducted by each class every term in the Senior High School Department of the University of Saint Louis.
