In a few days, we will have our last quarterly exam and bid goodbye to the Junior High School department. This story is not just for Grade 10 students. It’s also for the lower grades. This is OUR story.

I know some of you are having a hard time right now. I’ve been there, done that. Just know that we are near the finish line. Maybe we might even see each other again at our moving-up ceremony.

It’s true that the Covid-19 pandemic led us to this situation and has robbed us of two years of our high school lives. We’ve been through so much and have endured everything. I am positive that we can do it.

I was aiming for a column unrelated to the pandemic, but how could I? Take this as a sign of hope. Of a bright tomorrow. Of a new beginning.

From ‘Walang Pasok’ in 2020, to ‘Wala nang Pasok’ next week. We’ll get there after you turn off your phone and start the quest in the real world. After you’ve read every word in this column.

Here I am today, writing what might be my last story for The Blue & White-setting aside reviewing, so I can write the phrase – ONE LAST RIDE.
