And there it goes… Countless hours of writing Sports Articles just for the school publication. There was a gap between the 1st two and the last 2 ones I wrote yesterday and the day before. Maybe less than a month, I think.

I couldn’t show you the stories yet because I need to follow instructions. It is needed to be checked first. That is because it is going to be an official entry for a regional Journalism contest.

I wrote 3 News Reports and a Column. All in the form of Filipino language or Tagalog. Those are the upcoming championship bout of Manny Pacquiao against Errol Spence Jr; the recent fight of Nonito Donaire and Nordine Oubaali, the new website of the Philippine Olympians Association and then my Column about sports in the New Normal.

I couldn’t tell you more because I might get disqualified. Just kidding! I wish I can and I will post an update as soon as it gets approved.

They might edit the articles because that’s what they did to other previous newspapers from the past years. If that’s the case it’s fine for me. Maybe they will publish it too and roll it out for the students, but it’s been years since we had a new one.

With the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is gonna be impossible or should I say “Suntok sa Buwan”.

Fun fact: I suddenly became the Editor-in-Chief of Beavers, the official school publication of my elementary. I didn’t even wrote a single article in that newspaper. It was the English one that had my name written in maybe 3 articles.

It was given to all the students and I still have it! I kept it all for years… I collect stuff? I’ll show you. Here:

This is the first year I will be writing for a publication officially. For the 5 years I have been a Campus Journalist, never in my life I thought that this is the year. This is a dream come true. Another achievement in my JOURNey.

And it has only just began…
