Blog 21 – Mamaya na
After 6 days, I’m back. I will continue to write more stories from this day. I missed staring at this draft again.
I have been publishing blogs continuously from March 10-17 with 13 total posts. Due to some problems and the last quarterly examinations of my School, I broke my daily blog streak and finished of with 7 days, my highest so far.
With 6 days without a single post, I assure you I will beat that record.
So let me start today.
From “Mamaya nalang” to “Gagawin ko na talaga mamaya” to “Bukas nalang”. Those are the lines of a lazy human being, I belong to it.
Don’t get me wrong, I have tried to write for my blog this past week but I just couldn’t. I really wanted to.
I was not lazy… I was just resting or so…
What I learned from being productive
I was pretty productive I should say. The more I write, the more I want to write more. Even though I have more important things in hand I have to do, I chose to write a blog.
“Huwag mong ipagpabukas and kaya mong gawin ngayon”.
There are advantages and disadvantages of course.
“Mañana habit is one of the most negative traits of some people. It means (mamaya na) in Filipino or to do a certain thing in a later time. It is a procrastinate way of doing things or simple means finding a way to delay a work to be done”.
– Steemit/Prince-Evans
Bahala na si Batman
I am lazy but I always find a way to make it up for my bad habit. Making a stop to this trait is actually difficult. It’s a part of life now and it always did.
As a Filipino, I always say “Bahala na si Batman” when I miss doing something and pray that everything goes well.
Hope for the best and expect for the worst.
Just Do It
Probably one of the most famously lines. Nike’s tagline has brought inspiration to everyone.
Your dream is waiting for you. I know you have one, everyone does. One day at a time we are making a change. I am coping to my problem and hoping that maybe someday I’ll learn.
“The perceived negative tendency of Spanish-speaking South Americans and Filipinos to procrastination and laziness”.
– Wiktionary
So Mañana Habit, you have to leave now! Whatever you are just don’t come back ever again.
